It’s the stuff legends are made of- the knife that started the AXIS revolution! A design so pure that it does very well over a wide spectrum of uses. G10 handle skins provide slip resistant surface grip and will stand up to years of service. A modern clip-point blade interpretation puts the slice back into the utility blade, and its reverse curve edge is an ideal addition for efficiency.
The Model 710 kicked off the Axis revolution in style, with its distinctively smooth function and flowing curves bringing reality to rock-solid performance. The ATS-34 steel blade features a reverse-curve grind for added cutting efficiency. The ergonomic handle design is founded on heat-treated, T-410 stainless steel double-liners and then topped off with machined, aerospace G-10 laminate scales for fit and comfort no matter the task. Additionally, the finger treads machined into the liners near the forward handle provide for better blade control and grip stability. The Model 710 comes standard with properly sized, double thumb-studs which when teamed with the Axis lock's function, make the knife design a totally ambidextrous tool. Complete with a reversible, steel pocket-clip that may be readily secured to either side of the knife by means of the predrilled and tapped holes for right or left hand convenience.
When we were going through our safes to do inventory, we found a small quantity of Brand New, super rare Benchmade, Spyderco, and other knives still in the original shipping boxes from the manufacturers, stuck way back on a top shelf where they weren't noticed until now. Unopened, untouched (except to verify contents and condition),since we recieved them from the factory they are all in pristine, new condition.
They just don't come any better than this ! Don't waste your money on a used one, when you can buy a brand new one at about the same price.
